How do I trade-in with CRIT?
There's no need to make an appointment. Simply bring your items into the store (open 7 days a week) and speak to a member of our friendly team!
We’ll take the items and work through them very quickly. We buy thousands of cards and pops every week, so we’re quick and efficient. For much larger collections that are likely to take over an hour, you’re welcome to go and grab a coffee, and a member of our team will give you a call when your valuation is ready!
We consistently beat the competition, offering the best prices in this part of the UK. This consistency has allowed us to build up a huge selection of stock so there’s always a reason to take store credit, unless of course you’re selling up. Remember, store credit actually works out at 85%, as we give you an additional 5% loyalty on anything you spend, whether that be cash or store credit!For a fair and honest appraisal of your collection, visit CRIT!
Do you offer Gift Cards?
Unfortunately, due to the way our business is structured, we are unable to offer gift cards at this time.
If you're interested in the why, it's because we use two different VAT schemes. One for selling NEW products, and the other for selling USED products, such as traded in Pokemon cards. If we were to sell gift cards, we'd have to sell them as a NEW product, costing us significantly more over time in VAT.
Can you order items in that you don't currently have in store?
We are always looking to expand and improve upon our stock range. If you ever have a request or suggestion, we will do our very best to accomodate. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss!
Do you offer a grading service?
We don't currently offer a grading service.
The reason why, is that it's significantly more complex than you'd think. There's insurance to think about, and most major grading platforms have a very high monthly requirement for a shop to be recognised as a middle-man service.

Where's the best place to park?
We're very close to three car parks! The closest one (but most expensive) is the Holywell Cross Car Park, on the Saltergate roundabout.
However, for a slightly cheaper option (that only adds an additional 2 minutes to the walk), keep following the roundabout around, and park in the Saltergate Multi-Storey Car Park.
Do you have Pops/Cards not on display?
Always! We have hundreds, if not thousands of each stored and ready to go. If you can't find what you're looking for, just ask! All our Funko Pops are stored on our custom built database, so if we have it, we can locate it.
What times/days do you open?
We're open 7 days a week. Our opening times can be found at the bottom of this site.
Which TCG singles do you accept?
We currently take the following TCG singles/slabs/sealed product:
- Pokemon
- Magic the Gathering
- One Piece
We're not looking for Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragonball, or Riftbound singles at this time.
Do you attend any events?
We currently attend the UK's largest conventions, which are:
- MCM Comic Con London
- MCM Comic Con Birmingham
We don't attend any card shows, as we'd rather our shop customers get the pick of our best stock.
How do the weekend giveaways work?
At least once per month, we run weekend giveaways. The prize is usually of high value (£200+).
To enter, all you have to do is make a purchase in our store. It can be anything, of any value.
Keep your receipt... this is your entry!
The winner is drawn by random number spinner wheel on the Monday after the weekend, and the winner usually has 7 days to come forward and claim.
